☋ About Ketu (केतु)

Ketu is the south node of the Moon — the headless body of the demon Svarbhanu. Where Rahu represents the future, desires, and material ambitions, Ketu represents past karma, accumulated wisdom, and the path toward liberation (moksha).

Ketu is the most spiritual planet in Vedic astrology. A strongly placed Ketu can give exceptional spiritual insight, psychic abilities, healing powers, and detachment from material things. It is the Moksha Karaka — the significator of liberation.

Ketu is always exactly opposite Rahu in the chart (they are calculated as an axis). The house Ketu occupies represents an area of life from which the soul is detaching — the native may feel uninterested or experience loss in that domain, but may also have exceptional, almost effortless skill there from past lives.
